Alabama white sauce
this white sauce goes good with smoked chicken. You can find many recipes for this online, this is how I made it.
1 c avocado oil based mayonnaise (*)
3 tblsp cider vinegar (*)
1 tblsp coursely ground black pepper (*)
2 tsp brown sugar
1 tblsp dijon mustard
1 tblsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
pinch onion powder (*)
3/4 tsp salt (*)
pinch or two of cayenne (*)
whisk all ingredients together, taste and adjust salt and pepper. you can add a half tsp of hot sauce if you wish. if you want it a bit less vinegary try replacing 1 tblsp of vinegar with water. the simplest recipe i have seen for this has only the ingredients marked with (*) and with just 2 tblsp cider vinegar + 1 tblsp water.
